U.S based Nigeria singer Jemiriye Adeniji made history recently when she became the first Nigeria and indeed African to perform the evergreen "Take Me Out to The Ballgame" anthem of the Philadelphia baseball team, The Phillies. In an event which marked the 42 anniversary of the late baseball great, Jackie Robinson, Jemiriye, a former Nigerian Idol finalist sang to a stadium full of audience who had come to watch the unforgettable match between the Philadelphia Phillies versus Miami Marlin.

Popular Yoruba Actor, Ajigijaga is dead!

The death of 60 year old popular Yoruba actor, Muftua Adio  Sanni Abdulahi a.k.a. Ajigijaga  popular for his villanous roles has been announced by the president of The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria, Comrade Saidi Balogun. Details leading to his death are still a bit sketchy.

He was born to the Abdulahi family in July 15, 1955 in Ogun State, Nigeria. And after a while in his youthful days after a successful service with P&T (now NITEL) he rechanneled his focus and interest which actually made him to pick a career in acting and film making in 1981 .
