Sports minister, Solomon Dalung denied clash with Governor Lalong

Vanguard reported that the minister made this clarification in statement by his spokesman, Nneka Anibeze, saying that the rumour clash was only a media fabrication aimed to generate confusion in the state and erode confidence in the mind of the people against the current leadership.

Dalung said: "I read with serious concern, stories making the rounds about a purported clash between my supporters and those of the executive governor when I honoured him at a festival of Gemai ethnic group in Shendam. I was at a function with the governor and it not only went smoothly but was also very cordial. Fabricating such a story may be the handiwork of idle minds that benefit from crisis of political differences."

The minister noted that he is not at war with Lalong who he explained that they are close friend. Dalung noted like every other governor in this present administration, has common challenge of fund couple with high debt profile adding that this has slowed down drastic change in the state.
He urged the newly appointees to act as servant-leaders who would serve selflessly, diligently and faithfully with the fear of God.
