Goals from Casemiro and Isco helped Zinedine Zidane's side to victory on Tuesday, despite Romelu Lukaku's first competitive goal for United mid-way through the second half.
Ronaldo was left on the bench by Zinedine Zidane, having only returned to training on Saturday. He didn't train with his team-mates ahead of the game, but did emerge onto the pitch with some of his fellow squad members fully socked-and-sandaled.
