News reports have confirmed that Mariah Carey called off her engagement with her billionaire fiance James Packer, contrary to earlier claims that he did the dumping over her alleged expensive lifestyle.
According to UK Telegraph, Carey's team announced on Channel 7's Sunrise programme on Friday, that the couple "had a fight in Greece. They have not seen each other since".
And that's not all.
Carey's team, according to TMZ, added that she had to leave him because he is 'mentally unstable' and 'not in his right mind.' The statement continues that things took a terrible turn following the massive fight on a yacht in Greece.
The surprising split comes barely ten months after the Australian mogul slipped a $10m diamond on her finger and popped the marriage question. Packer was Mariah Carey's first relationship after she split up with Nick Cannon.
Meanwhile, Packer's camp denies the allegation. According to TMZ, they are "simply untrue."
