Five players in Spain have tested positive for coronavirus after clubs conducted massive testing for footballers ahead of La Liga return in June.
According to Calalan broadcaster RAC1, in the first round of tests for Covid-19 ahead of a possible return to playing, three players from the top flight and two others from the Segunda, the second division, have tested positive.
The names of the players have not been revealed but these are preliminary findings with more results still expected.
The publication also said that LaLiga will make a public announcement soon as they are waiting for all the tests to be completed.
The Coronavirus tests are being carried out on every LaLiga players, along with the coaching staff and all employees.
