Danny Welbeck set to miss Arsenal’s FA Cup tie with Sutton United amid ‘plastic pitch’ concerns

Danny Wellback looks set to miss Arsenal's FA cup tie with Sutton United on Monday night  after citing the non-league side's 3G pitch
as a potential injury concern.
Welbeck featured for Arsenal's Under-23 side in their Premier League 2 fixture at Leicester on Sunday, playing for 70 minutes as he continues to build match fitness following an eight-month injury layoff.
However, Welbeck looks set to miss Monday night's FA Cup fifth-round clash against Sutton due to the potential impact playing on the National League side's artificial pitch could have on his comeback.
Welbeck tweeted after Sunday's game: "Glad to get 70 minutes today to build up my match fitness. Plastic pitch at Sutton isn't the best idea at the moment. #COYG".

The England international has made six appearances for the Gunners since returning from his long-term knee problem in January.
Welbeck has started just one of those games, though scored twice in the 5-0 victory against Southampton in the previous round of the FA Cup.
