“Why I don’t wear pants” – Baby Blanche
Due to the kind of clothes she likes to wear and is comfortable in, Baby Blanche has revealed in an interview with Showbiz that she hardly wears panties when she's going out.
"I love all kinds of lingerie that make a woman feminine because I'm a woman, but I hardly wear panties. This is not because I don't want to wear them but because the clothes I love to wear wouldn't permit me to," she told Showbiz.
"I try as much as possible to act as a lady and not to let my panty lines show just because I like to wear dresses that hug my figure. So if I wear clothes and the outline of my panty is glaring like that I don't like it," she explained. "Being a lady is not only about wearing make-up and Brazilian hair but also comprises the propriety of whatever you're wearing," says Baby Blanche. She adds that she does not worry much about thoughts that she may be sexually assaulted by unscrupulous men because she makes sure she doesn't go to awkward places at awkward hours.

Alice Barker, now age 102, was a chorus-line dancer during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1930s and '40s. But despite having appeared in lots of movies and TV shows, she had never seen herself dance on film.
That all changed when filmmakers decided to visit her in her nursing home to show her footage of herself in "soundies" (the music videos of the day).
Barker is enthralled and her recollections are incredible to watch. "It makes me wish I could get out of this bed and do it all over again" she shared.

Justin Bieber Cut of his long hair | Pics
Last night, JB posted this, um, rather obscured photo with the caption "This is gone." Considering the subject the photo is zoomed in on, it seems safe to assume the "this"—don't leave your modifiers dangling, Justin!!—is his hair, which he's been growing out for a while.
Fortunately, Justin was caught leaving the salon and despite his disguise—a blanket, to accompany the pillows he's used as diversions before—and, based on what's showing underneath his hat, it's def gone. Like, very closely shaved.

DMX claims alleged robbery victim offered him drugs
A 21 year old Newark man on Sunday April 5th accused DMX of robbing him after he struck up a conversation with the rapper at a New Jersey gas station. Now, DMX's lawyer is claiming the robbery story is not story, saying the fan offered DMX drugs before calling the police...
From NJ.com
An attorney for rapper DMX says two men claiming they were robbed by the hip-hop star Sunday morning offered him drugs before contacting police.
Bronx-based Murray Richman, whose long list of clients has included Jay-Z and members of the Lucchese crime family, told NJ Advance Media that the allegations the rapper shook them down for $3,200 in cash were "completely bogus."
"He doesn't have a gun. There's video tape on the scene. I imagine the police have it. I don't get it," he said.Richman said he had spoken with DMX, also known as Earl Simmons, who told him he and a group of associates that included two former New York City police officers stopped at the gas station following a headlining spot at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center Saturday night.
It was there that he met the two alleged victims, who recognized him and asked to pose for pictures, he added. The men eventually offered the rapper drugs, according to Richman, which he refused due to his past struggles with addiction.
"He had a problem in the past. These guys thought they were being cool with him," he said, adding that DMX told him he left the scene promptly after refusing the offer.
The account differs from the one provided by the 21-year-old victim, who told police the two had a brief conversation before DMX demanded the victim show him what was in his pockets.
A member of the rapper's entourage then allegedly flashed a handgun, he claims, prompting him to turn over the cash.
A friend who was with the alleged victim at the time has spoken out in his defense, saying the large amount of money taken was from a freshly cashed paycheck.
Newark police were on scene at the McCarter Highway Exxon today gathering the video. An investigation into the incident remains active, though no charges have been filed against DMX or anyone else, police confirmed.

Cossy Ojiakor Reveals Why She’s Broke
Nollywood actress, Cossy Ojiakor reacted to rumors that she's broke and she had to stop her movie due to money issues.
Cossy told Saturday beats that: "The picture that surfaced online was taken on the set of a movie that I just shot. I am almost done with the movie and it is about the lifestyle of the daughters of politicians. I love it when I have very beautiful people in my movies. Anita Joseph is a very beautiful lady. She is very curvy. I have big boobs too, so it would make the movie more attractive to watch."
She also said "The movie is almost finished; all that remains is a scene that I have to do in a yacht. The lead character is currently in the US and he would not be back until two weeks' time for us to shoot that part. I thought I was going to finish the movie in a week and that was what I based my budget on but it extended to three weeks. That was an unexpected occurrence because I had to pay hotel and feeding bills for my cast. I did not really foresee that happening.
"Maybe at a point, I told them I was broke so that they would take it easy on me. Somebody must have taken my word literally but it is okay to be broke. It is not a bad thing to be broke for a while. I do not really care about what people say about me. If they owed me money, I would have been more concerned. I have done my movie already; it just remains a scene for it to be complete and once my lead character is back, I will complete it. I paid all the people I employed but the director introduced some people to me on set. I did not sort out people that were begging to be part of my movie production but I made sure that I paid everyone that I invited. I paid them all their fees and some people were telling me that I should have given them part payment because they could walk out on me but if I owe them, they wouldn't,"
Nobody Should Celebrate Buhari – Etcetera
Etcetera has something to say about the new government. read below;
Why are we dancing? Why do we keep rolling out the drums each time we have a new government, only for us to start crying few months down the line? Is it that we are too quick to forget or we just love to dance? Do you celebrate a child who's about to write his exams or the one who has written and passed? What is this jubilation for? Because I really don't understand. Is it that the election of Buhari in itself has suddenly alleviated our sufferings? I am really confused here, hearing how six bikers lost their lives in Zaria celebrating Buhari's victory.
One would think that a people who have been shortchanged for so long by past presidents will know better to be calm and take every word of the new president with a pinch of salt until he proves to be different. This process is becoming an unending circle, again and again we've danced and again and again, we've cursed and cried at the end. It is still shocking to me that a lot of Nigerians fell for the story that the president was born without shoes. Was anyone born with shoes on? Buhari's triumphant entry into the presidency last Sunday which coincidentally was a palm Sunday doesn't yet prove he is the redeemer. Just like the second coming of our supposed political messiah Obasanjo didn't prove any significant improvement in our lives.
We all thought he was the one anointed by the gods to take us by the hands and lead us right straight into the promised land, where we shall have no more gnashing of teeth. But when he left office, the roads were still as bad as they were before he took office. The hospitals were still without facilities and most importantly, he failed to defeat the demon in the power sector even with billions of dollars thrown at it. The demons in the same power sector have claimed Jonathan just like they did Yar'Adua, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Sanni Abacha, Shonekan, IBB and Shagari. Even Buhari himself had already been defeated by this demon before. So what says it is not going to be the same this time around. Remember obasanjo was defeated twice by this same demon.
Why won't our leaders take us for granted when they've noticed that we are always ready to jump to our feet and "judile" with the announcement of every new regime? When Buhari overthrew the democratically elected government of Shehu Shagari in 1983, many of you reading this took to the streets to boogie down. When Babangida sent Buhari packing a couple of months later, a lot more of you got drunk and vomited all over the place. Even Abacha's sudden death brought smiles on the faces of most bar owners across the country as they ran out of booze.
Is something wrong with us as a people? We are forgetting a very important fact that this election proves that we are and will still remain a divided people. We are divided by our ideologies with no realistic integration in sight. The election has also reinforced the thinking that we are divided by regional, tribal and religious interests and not national. These are some of the significant issues that will define our tomorrow. Finally, some of you who are reading this may be saying, oh Etcetera, can't you be optimistic for once? My brother, I can't. Optimism and its younger brother, hope have proven to be very dangerous especially in Nigeria. They have sent millions of Nigerians to their early graves. What is the point of being optimistic in a system that has always left me in tears and heartache? Or is it till I get arrested by Mr. Cardiac? Tufiakwa!
Singer May D Denies Beating His Babymama!
Last week singer May D made the news for allegedly battering the mother of his first child, Adebola Olowoporoku.
Adebola claimed he beat her up silly and futher backed up her story with photos of her battered face.
But speaking on his behalf when Saturday Beats called the singer on the phone earlier in the week, Oreoluwa Akinbode, his cousin who also doubles as his manager, denied the allegations that he is a woman beater.
According to him, "The truth is that the news has been out for a while and I haven't spoken to anybody about it and May D has not either. When we read the news, we were shocked because it is false. We have spoken to our lawyers and our PR team and they have something they are working on. We want anything that would come out to be the official statement of the company. We don't want to release individual responses. Aside from being his manager, May D is also my cousin. Anything I say can be considered to be a statement from both his management and brother. That is why I am skeptical about going into details.
"Anything that will come out will be from our lawyers or PR team. We want it to be official. Funny enough, you do not need to hear from May D before you know that he does not beat women not to talk about the mother of his child. If you followed the news, a lot of people replied on May D's behalf that it is not possible without us saying anything. Anybody that knows him one on one knows that he is not capable of such. She is still the mother of his son and because of that, we have to be cautious. We need to think of the family and that is why we need to be reasonable at this point. I don't know why his baby mama would put out such a story about him. It is a personal relationship between them."
