Lil Kesh has decided to address his contract issues with YBNL. The rapper whose contract with YBNL expired few weeks ago wrote,

"Ok so it's true that my contract ended about two weeks ago like we all know my contract with YBNL was for two years but that's the business side to it. And did I state that my contract included 3 videos for me and one album? But Baddo went out of his way to shoot about 5 videos for me. Business or no business YBNL is family and will always be till I go 6ft under the ground. YAGI records is reeal with the support of my big bro olamide, YBNL remains my management for life, YBNL doesn't just produce successful artists it produces artist that will help produce other successful artists. That's the dream Baddo shared with me about a year ago."

He also wrote on Instagram,

"Good day guys, sorry we didn't put guys in d loop… Maybe cause we see no point in bringing it up cause family is family business or no business. I signed 2 year deals with Viktoh and Kesh, it ended weeks ago… But the bond is 007 leave it (james bone level). Don't touch it. Kesh got his own record label now #YAGI but still works with YBML Mngnt. Viktoh is still under YBNL Mngmt too. So worry not. The world is our for the taken. #YBNL #FamilyForEver"

'I am not planning to kill Adams Oshiomhole' - Edo deputy governor

Deputy Governor of Edo State, Pius Odubu, has refuted rumours that he is planning to kill his boss and governor of the state, Adams Oshiomole. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Odubu said the rumor which is being peddled by his political enemies, is aimed at destroying the cordial relationship between him and Oshiomole.

"As a devout Catholic, I will not do anything that is unbecoming of a true Christian in the name of politics. God knows that I never had any pact with any witch/native doctor to kill anyone or avenge for me and I will never condescend to that extent as long as God lives. It is against my faith. Addiction: Man kills 2-year-old daughter after she interrupted his video game

A 31 year old Texas man, Anthony Michael Sanders was charged on Friday with capital murder for biting and smothering his two-year-old daughter in a 'fit of rage' after she interrupted his video-game playing on December 12, 2015.

Sanders killed his daughter, Ellie Sanders while her mom was out of the house at an art show.

According to an arrest warrant, Sanders had been caring for his two children all day beginning about 10 a.m. while his wife was out.

When the wife returned, about 8:30 p.m., Sanders was in the living room with their 5 year old son and he told his wife that their daughter was sleeping.
30 minutes after the mum arrived, their son tried to wake the toddler up but she wouldn't wake up so he ran to tell his parents that his sister wouldn't wake up, Sgt. Jason Babcock, a police spokesman. told the Star-Telegram.

At about 10pm, thinking that her daughter was just sleeping, the mother told him to let her rest - but  the father still went to check on her to make sure their daughter was fine. That was went he found out she was breathing and started shouting for his wife to call 911. Emergency services arrived almost immediately and rushed her to the hospital

Ellie was pronounced dead at the hospital at 10:10pm, but doctors suspected foul play when they found bruising on her body, around the eyes, blood behind one ear and bite marks that could have come from an adult human.

In an interview with police, Sanders provided no explanation for the injuries, Babcock said.

"He has no idea what happened," Babcock said Sanders told police. "He just went back there and she wasn't breathing."

Sanders told police several times that he had checked on Ellie and even changed her diaper about 30 minutes before his wife arrived home. He told police the girl "appeared fine and was up watching television in the bedroom laughing," the affidavit states.

 

Police charged Sanders with capital murder after the Tarrant County medical examiner's office ruled that the girl's death was a homicide caused by asphyxiation. He was jailed on Friday with bail set at $1 million.

"Anthony, by his own admission, was the only adult that was in the residence during the time the injuries were inflicted upon his daughter which caused her death," Detective B. McComis wrote in the affidavit.

She was ultimately killed, police say, when Sanders put his hand over her mouth and asphyxiated her. 

'Just a fit of rage-type deal, anger,' Babcock told the Star-Telegram. 

'He's very involved in computer gaming,' he continued. 'That's something he did constantly. She may have interrupted him somehow. His day may have been interrupted.'

Court records show Sanders was charged in July 2011 with choking the girl's mother, whom he later married. The case, however, was no-billed in August 2011, records show.
After Ellie's death, Child Protective Services took custody of her brother, now 6. He has been placed in the care of a relative, CPS spokeswoman Marissa Gonzales said Friday

5. Don't miss an opportunity to be photographed with people that matter. Don't wait till someone creates the photo opps. Do it!

6. Do a wild thing every now and then. Then return to status quo. Then let the media milk it for all they can.

7. When fellow artistes ask you to do cameo appearances on their productions, do it. You gain some publicity and they owe you one. You will need it someday.

8. Take as many pictures with your fans as you can. They are your core customers. It's part of satisfying them.

9. Have opinions and share same so people know where you stand. It shows you are not just an artiste but part of the community.

10. Can I have your call card? Yes! Always yes!!!! You never know where your services maybe needed. But always say, "send me a text first".

11. Relate with colleagues and fellow players in the Showbiz hemisphere. It's a very important ingredient in relevance.

12. Ignore publicity & conflict mongers. You want to be visible but draw the line between reputation and bad belle.

Jay Z responds to rumors of $5 million lawsuit for not paying royalties

Yesterday (Feb. 29) there were rumours that Jay Z's streaming service Tidal was facing a lawsuit. John Emanuele, of the band The American Dollar, and Yesh Music, LLC. alleged that the company did not live up to their side of their contractual promise thereby suing him with a $5 million class-action lawsuit.
However, Jay Z's Tidal released the following statement, dismissing the allegations:

"TIDAL is up to date on all royalties for the rights to the music stated in Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele's claim and they are misinformed as to who, if anyone, owes royalty payments to them. As Yesh Music, LLC admits in their claim, TIDAL has the rights to the Master Recordings through its distributor Tunecore and have paid Tunecore in full for such exploitations. Their dispute appears to be over the mechanical licenses, which we are also up to date on payments via Harry Fox Agency our administrator of mechanical royalties".

"The entire catalogue in question streamed fewer than 13,000 times on TIDAL and its predecessor over the past year. We have now removed all music associated with Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele from the service. This is the first we have heard of this dispute and Yesh Music, LLC should be engaging Harry Fox Agency if they believe they are owed the royalties claimed. They especially should not be naming S Carter Enterprises, LLC, which has nothing to do with Tidal. This claim serves as nothing other than a perfect example of why America needs Tort reform."

Former Westlife member Shane Filan fulfil's final wish of terminally ill fan by meeting her hours before death

Former Westlife member, Shane Filan fulfilled the dying wish of a terminally ill fan who launched an online campaign to meet him - few hours before she passed away.

23 year old Emma Clayson,was given only three months to live last November after her skin cancer had spread to her other organs. One of the things she had on her bucket list was to meet Shane before she died.

Her 21 year old sister Becky, launched an online campaign to help Emma fulfil her dying wish to meet Shane and the appeal went viral.

Fortunately, Shane saw the appeal and travelled from Ireland last Friday and surprised Emma at her home in Great Billing, Northampton.

The star spent an hour with Emma before signing autographs and giving her CDs and Westlife posters.

Emma sadly passed away on the following day, Saturday morning, just 18 hours after her surprise visit, the Irish Mirror reported.

Emma's mum Mandy, 45, said:

"Shane was wonderful. He sat with Emma and held her hand and chatted away like a member of the family.

"Emma had a huge smile on her face. It was the loveliest afternoon for her. She has always been a huge Westlife fan.

"She went to both their farewell concerts and even flew over to

 Dublin to see them without telling us. I only found out she'd gone when I found the tickets in her bag.
